The Craft of Statistical Analysis Training Webinars

The Analysis Factor’s monthly training webinars provide you with practical information to take the frustration out of statistical analysis. Each month’s training will cover topics with real issues that researchers face in data analysis. These events are always free and hosted by Karen Grace-Martin, a professional statistical consultant, who will be available to answer your questions.

This Month’s Topic:

Structural Equation Modeling Using Partial Least Squares With SmartPLS

Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with latent variables has become a quasi-standard in investigating complex causal relationships in business and social research.

Recently, partial least squares (PLS) path modeling has encountered increased popularity across many scientific disciplines as an easy, yet powerful, estimation technique for structural equation models. It is characterized by robustness, prediction orientation and has the capability to estimate formative measurement models.

This webinar will introduce you to the free SmartPLS path modeling tool, demonstrate how to use it, and explain some of the differences between PLS-based and covariance-based SEM.

Dr. Geoffrey HubonaOur guest presenter on this webinar is Dr. Geoffrey Hubona, associate professor of computer information systems at Georgia State University. He has been using partial least squares (PLS)-based structural equation modeling (SEM) software to analyze research data since 2001. He has been presenting PLS-SEM workshops since 2006.

The recording is free, but you must register.

As a bonus, you will also receive our monthly newsletter, StatWise.
